The Annual Meeting of the Irish Mathematical Society covers all aspects of Pure and Applied Mathematics and also Mathematics Education. This year's edition will be hosted by the Pure Mathematics Research Centre of Queen's University Belfast on 5 and 6 September 2014 and is organised by Dr Martin Mathieu. It will be held in the David Bates Building on the main campus of Queen's University. See here for a map (no. 10 on the pdf map).
Each participant can propose to give a 25min contributed talk. All slots are filled by now.
You can still propose for a poster to be displayed. Please bring your poster ready for display with you in this case and inform me of its size beforehand.

There is no pre-registration needed for this meeting. Registration on-site will be on Friday, 5 September between 11am and 12noon.
The registration fee of £10/€12 must be paid in cash at registration.
The registration fee is waived for IMS members and for PhD students.
The conference dinner will take place in the Great Hall of Queen's University Belfast on Friday, 5 September at 7:30pm.
The dinner is held jointly with the participants of iWOP2014 (see below). The cost is £30/€38 and must be paid at registration in the morning.
If you intend to come to the dinner, please send an e-mail to the organiser at m.m@qub.ac.uk by Friday, 15 August 2014 at the latest,
indicating the number of people who you come with and any dietary requirements.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society will be held between 1pm and 2:30pm on Saturday, 6 September.
A sandwhich lunch will be provided.
iWOP2014 (The International Workshop on Operator Theory 2014) will precede the IMS meeting on the days 3 and 4 September and on the morning of 5 September. Registered participants of iWOP2014 can attend the IMS meeting and dinner at no additional cost. Participants of the IMS meeting can attend the morning session of iWOP2014 on 5 September at no additional cost.
